Our Bias and Cultural Climate Assessment © is a 30-50 item (# of items dependent on position/title of participant) questionnaire that measures social group bias, behaviors, institutional practices and intergroup processes. We address critical race theory using a unique approach that highlights the role of group-status, privilege and power across social groups that allows people to see the common social processes across a variety of social groupings (Race, Ethnicity, Nationality, Geography, Language, Gender, Religion, Political Identity, Sexual Orientation, and SES).
By addressing bias from multiple social groups, this increases acceptance and understanding of individuals own biases and how bias impacts behaviors and practices, without inciting division and alienation. The results from the assessment will allow for a better understanding of where there are Race, Ethnicity, Nationality, Geography, Language, Gender, Religion, Political Identity, Sexual Orientation, and SES disparities at your institution and to customize an action plan to address specific diversity, equity and inclusion institutional barriers. |
